Matt and Rachel’s wedding day was a testament to who they are as a couple – kind, fun, radiant and genuine. It was such a beautiful crafted wedding with rustic flair and modern elegance. As proven from their engagement session, Rachel is extremely creative and talented – she and her mother handmade a majority of the wedding decor elements, including the centerpieces, the bridesmaids’ crocheted shawls and hundreds of fabric flowers. The October day started chilly and overcast but that quickly changed as it turned out to be one of the warmest, sunniest and wonderful days for a wedding! The Frankenmuth Brewery was the perfect setting with the river and the covered bridge in the background during their ceremony. Thank you Matt and Rachel for allowing me to capture your special and incredibly stunning day!
The Bavarian Inn was our backdrop for a few bride/groom portraits before taking our walk through downtown Frankenmuth to get to the brewery.
Rachel made the three shawls for her bridesmaids and Rachel’s grandmother crocheted her shawl.
The bridal party was such a fun and silly group!
The bride’s mother, Linda, drew their guestbook tree by hand…
